Gold Feet Bay draws inspiration from the modern Zen spirit, as defined by renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando. The physical natural elements and their relationship with each other are reflected in the design, resulting in a serene and harmonious atmosphere.
The interior of Gold Feet Bay is adorned with 145 hand-made ceramic imitation Eaves tiles, which hold deep cultural significance in the palace decoration of the Han Dynasty. These tiles not only bring a sense of history and good luck but also highlight the cultural heritage of the project. The tea room, adorned with white lotus flowers, acts as a natural connection between different functional areas and symbolizes the club's commitment to being a clear stream that does not follow the tide.
To enhance the flexibility and enjoyment of the space, additional stairs have been added, complementing the existing elevator. Below these stairs, a water landscape pool creates a calming visual effect. The indoor waterscape serves as a reminder of nature, fostering a pleasant recreational and entertainment space for guests.
One of the key design considerations for Gold Feet Bay was the creation of situational light sources. Candlestick lamps, bamboo tube lamps, and landscape lights have been strategically placed throughout the club to provide a calming effect and help guests unwind. The combination of these light sources with massage manipulations aims to relieve the pressures of daily life and promote a sense of tranquility.
The Gold Feet Bay project was completed in May 2019, following its design in December 2018. It is a testament to the dedication and creativity of designer Bin Liu and his team. Their meticulous attention to detail and incorporation of Zen culture have resulted in a pedicure health club that offers a unique and immersive experience.
This exceptional design has been recognized with the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2020. This prestigious accolade is bestowed upon designs that demonstrate outstanding creativity, resourcefulness, and technical skill. Gold Feet Bay's incorporation of best practices in art, science, design, and technology contributes to the improvement of quality of life, making it a truly deserving recipient of this esteemed award.
